The Third Age
Gods of Yggdrasil
There is a divine hierarchy to the story of these beings. At the top are the primordials; Ansemund, Yggdrasil, and Abraxas as well as the worlds themselves. Then there are the Eternals; Phanes Acmon, Adonai Messiah, Erebus Mephistopheles, Exousia Nyx, and many more. Then you have the Titans who, although they can be as powerful as a primordial, an eternal, or a god, are traditionally placed on this level; Surtr, Fenrir, Nidhogg, Hel, and many others. Finally, just above the mortals, you have the gods. There are millions of gods and hundreds of pantheons each quarreling for influence and power in the mortal realm. Their wars and battles directly influence the affairs of the mortal realm, being epic in proportion with their weapons, armory, and deeds falling to legend.
The Age of Heroes
The Age of Heroes was the era after The First Ragnarok with some saying it ended during the Rise of the Jotunn Empire and others saying after the Fall of the Jotunn Empire. It was in this age that the gods truly came into their own because of the absence of the Eternals' influence. The Eternals had been weakened by the Titans, proving that even the Eternals were not truly all-powerful. While the gods had dwindled in number during the War of Eternals and The First Ragnarok, one god rallied the strongest of the gods under his pantheon: the Allfather Odin.
Already having gained fame for being the only god to venture into Yggdrasil's domain, master the runes, and craft the Gjallarhorns, Odin now sought to usher in a new age that would bring forth prosperity in the Nine Worlds. Asgard became a bastion of advancement and it is there where the first Iron Thane Weapons were forged, becoming weapons the gods would come to use to defend the Nine Worlds from any foe. As more Iron Thane Weapons were forged, they became gifts for the strongest mortals who were seen as heroes to the God of War.

Odin the Allfather
Pantheon: Aesir and Vanir
God: War, Wisdom, Death, Poetry, Sorcery, Inspiration, Royalty
Titles: The Allfather, Father of Men, Father of the Age, Lord of the Aesir, The Flashing Eye, Sole Creator of Magical Songs, The Ever Booming, The One Who Rides Forth, Freyja's Delight, The Wanderer, The Raven God, God of Asgard, Lord of Earth, King of Valhalla, God of Runes, He That Reigns, Father of Victory, Foe of the Wolf, Father of the Slain, God of the Primal Streams, etc.
Odin was born alongside his two brothers Vili and Vé through their sheer will. The three brothers willed themselves to come into existence during a time of peace caused by the reign of Ansemund. It is said that the three brothers sensed the impending conflict that would come soon and come it did as soon after this, Ansemund was gone. This was at a time when there were little gods in existence. However, once the Eternals started vying for power, gods began to bloom in number to serve their Eternal Lords and gain influence from the mortals. Odin and his brothers served no one and this became apparent in their first battle with a Titan: Ymir. The three brothers came across Ymir in a frozen planet of Midgard. Looking to create a home, the three brothers battled the Titan to claim the planet as theirs. Odin's brothers were slain in the battle, but Odin fought on and managed to defeat Ymir and put an end to the bitter cold that consumed the planet. Ymir would flee the planet as Odin would come to defend it, branding the planet "Earth." As Odin defended the planet from foes who would come to conquer it, he attracted the attention of other gods who joined him in defending the planet. These gods wanted freedom from the War of Eternals, choosing to fight for no one but their own kind and followed Odin in his freedom. Their powers would bring life and beauty to Earth. Even when the Battle of Midgard raged in the neighboring planet Mars and when the Titans passed over Midgard deep into Asgard, Earth saw no danger as Odin in all his power defended it alongside his pantheon of Aesir and then Vanir.
It was after The First Ragnarok that Odin would seek both power and wisdom. The mortals in his planet worshiped the God of War vigorously and his influence grew more mighty because of it, he quested the Norns to seek information on what was to come. The knowledge he gained made him more grim, but determined in his endeavor. He bid the dwarves of Nidavellir, who also resisted the Titans and were impressed by the god's victories, to accompany him to Asgard and rebuild the ruined cities and to reconstruct Valhalla. The dwarves built a golden city, Gladsheim (Bright Home), within the vast territory of Idavoll (Splendor Plain) within Asgard and it is here where the gods from all the Nine Worlds would come to gather to share knowledge, power, and culture. Odin, alongside the power of his Aesir, created Bifrost (Shimmering Path) which would easily connect capitals and important locations in the Nine Worlds like great roads for easy travel, with one connecting back to Earth. With dwarven hammers, Odin bid the forging of the Iron Thane Weapons named in honor of the Iron Thanes who defended Asgard from ruin. This was when his hands came across Gungnir, he sought the power of the runes in Yggdrasil, and established his dominion over the Nine Worlds as the most powerful god. During his height, Odin was capable of defeating any Titan (except Agmund and Abraxas) in personal combat. He wielded the runes with perfection, his body becoming immune to its effects and could simply utter the runes in your direction and bind you.
