"I have never questioned where I draw courage from. Courage to me has never been about facing impossible odds or climbing the highest mountain or exploring the deepest depths. It has never been about facing inner demons nor outer ones. Courage to me is the strength to aid a friend in need and the conviction to protect that which I love. It is not the lack of fear, but the judgement that something is more important than that fear. Mine is the path of courage, it is unyielding and eternal."
-Osmund the High King
Saga of Gold
The Saga of Gold inhabits the positive, divine forces among the Yggdrasil Family. They're known as the Branch of Spirit, since they hold the most energy reserves by far. This saga began after the divergence of Ansemund, with a young boy named Asier, who drifted through the energies that swirled around him. Their characteristics are to be able to hold honor, pride, and charity. Their Al-Vaepni is gold, royal blue, or white.
The unique traits of the Saga of Gold are the extreme levels of vitality and latent energy, far more than any of the other two sagas combined. Killing them requires extra effort and their sheer potential is evident in their ability to create towering constructs at the lowest level and stellar constructs at the highest. Due to Asier inheriting the Aether aspects of Ansemund, the Saga of Gold is also known for having unique prowess over the Aether side of energies and possessing a presence of courage.
Saga of Gold Bonus:
-Natural Titanic Levels of Energy
While most take a while to earn this level of power, the Saga of Gold scions are the only ones who start with this level of power. During a battle, it's almost as if they have infinite levels of energy as they create mighty constructs whilst splashing the landscape with destructive power continuously without losing momentum. The only problem is actually being able to wield it and master their very own energy, but once they do, they can become unrivaled.
-Extra Iron Thane Weapon
The maximum amount of Iron Thane weapons each Yggdrasil from any saga can wield is two (although there are sometimes special circumstances that allow them to gain more). Due to their level of energy, Saga of Gold scions can wield a total of 3 (aside from special circumstances). Saga of Gold are also immune to the negative effects, recoil, or cooldowns of their own Iron Thane Weapons as well (except for Ragnarok).
-Secondary Gjallarhorn
Being able to wield a Gjallarhorn takes immense levels of energy, which the Saga of Gold inherently has. Therefore, they are capable of wielding a second Gjallarhorn whereas the other sagas are stuck with only being able to wield one. Like with the Iron Thane weapons, they can also dual wield both of their Gjallarhorns or even dual wield a Gjallarhorn with their Iron Thane weapons...or utilize all of them at the same time (a feat seen with the Divine Avatar of Aether).
