There has been no other who has come before death and darkness as I. When the golden gates of Asgard trembled and cracked, I alone held strong the codes of the Great Guardian. Warrior of Light and Shadow, steeped in moonlit scent and starlit glow, we are your sword. This dynasty will never fall so long as a hero of hope and valor flies forth into eternity.
Adonai Messiah
He Who Burns In Darkness
Adonai Messiah
Guardian of Alfheim
King of Aether
Concept: Genesis
Embodiment: Aether
Weapon: Dual Swords
Adonai Messiah, whose name means "The Lord" or "Lord of Gods," was the second to be born from Ansemund. Ansemund molded him from the Burning Sun, Madrugada, that lit up all Nine Worlds after Phanes Acmon's creation. In doing so, he shrunk the star so it would only shine in Alfheim and Midgard. He is considered the warrior hero among the Eternals, being the most elite and experienced fighter among them in terms of combat. He rules over the gods and is constantly in preparation for the end of the worlds. He was the only Eternal, along with Phanes Acmon, to not fall to the scourge of Titans in the First Ragnarok and he was the one who burned all the Titans singlehandedly when they approached Valhalla, weakening them.
Summoning the Gjallarhorn of Adonai Messiah will cause the light around you to wave, giving way to premonitions of fire and armies within your burning aura. The appearance of 6 wings will stretch out from behind your aura, filling the field of view and blinding your opponent. The air itself will become ablaze with the fierce energy that continues to release. The wings will then flare, golden fire replacing the feathers as they begin to wrap around you, forming a sphere. The sphere around you cracks as you call upon Adonai Messiah:

"Marvelous perfection, blessed be He who burns in darkness. Marvelous perfection, blessed be He who is called nameless. I call you: Unquenchable, unhidden, changeless, radiant, the All-Consuming Flame! In your name, I shall prove to be your Herald! DANCE AT THE MAKER'S FEET...GJALLARHORN OF ADONAI MESSIAH!"
Stage 1 - Herald of Heroes
The edgings of your form begin to flicker like a flame, your skin glowing brightly from an internal fire unseen to your opponent but intensely felt by all those around you. Your own head glows as if an invisible sun were crowned at the back of your head, releasing orange fumes outward to disperse in the air. Your hands burn as they clutch two golden swords whose blades resemble that of a ray of light more than it would steel, fire burning around the blade giving the image of wings as it flickers while at its base eyes on both sides, moving ever curiously. Their only differentiation being the hilt colors. One possesses a crimson hilt adorned by a burning disc at the guard, Uriel, while the other is blue at the hilt with the pebbles of a lily at the guard, giving the sword, Gabriel, the appearance of a trumpet. These are the first of the Seven Archangel Swords.
The effects the first stage has on you are rather immediate. You are immune to all maladies due to your life-force and vigor gaining considerable strength (signified by your body glowing) and are immune to great pain. This means that no matter how much damage you take, it will have no effect on the power you can deal on opponents. It does not mean you will not be able to take damage, it just means the damage you receive will not prevent you from utilizing powerful attacks due to your life-force invigorating your power every step of the way.
Unlike most Gjallarhorns, Adonai Messiah's Gjallarhorn immediately puts you at 100% power capability where other Gjallarhorns would build to that through each stage. Should you wish, you could kick a planet out of orbit or due honorable combat atop a star at this current stage. What each stage separates you from is ascendance to being able to utilize the armies of Heaven in combat. This current stage simply grants you the physical abilities that will be necessary for the coming stages, while granting you Uriel and Gabriel.

What each stage separates you from is ascendance to being able to utilize the armies of Heaven in combat. This current stage simply grants you the physical abilities that will be necessary for the coming stages, while granting you Uriel and Gabriel.
- Uriel (God is my Light): Uriel is the Archangel of Repentance and the one who imposes the will of Adonai Messiah through force. Among the armies of heaven, he is said to be as heartless as any demon as he possesses fierce devotion to the cause with no tolerance for morality. When he is said to be the King of the Stars as the flame of Adonai Messiah himself, why should he heed the rules of mercy?
- When Uriel is used as a blade, he is a focused ray of violent Aether that burns as hot as Madrugada once did. The heat is not felt outward as a presence in a normal state as it would destroy planets and kill all life around him. However, you can release the presence of this heat it in small dosages or altogether to purge all that is around you.
- When Uriel is released from his blade form and summoned in his Archangel Form, he provides powerful offensive capabilities as he manipulates his own burning, bronze light of Aether. When you enter Stage 2 and begin empowering yourself with Principalities, Uriel will inherently possess purification abilities seen in the Glasir Heiko. Therefore, all that Uriel comes to burn is purified and gathered by Gabriel who will apply the energy to all allies.
- Gabriel (God is my Strength): Gabriel is the Archangel of Revelation and the one who tells of the word of Adonai Messiah. Among the armies of heaven, she provides tactical information across vast distances as support. Furthermore, it is Gabriel who calls upon the banners of heaven when war is declared through her trumpet. To those who know her, she is described as forthright with no patience for the dishonorable. She stands close to Adonai Messiah much like Vehuiah Seraphim does as his left hand as the Messenger of the Lord.
- When Gabriel is used as a blade, her cuts release blasts of fiery power shortly after the initial cut that catches and chains onto other enemies. These blasts can be released from a range to create shockwaves of fire to achieve the same chaining effect.
- When Gabriel is released from her blade form and summoned in her Archangel Form, she provides powerful support capabilities as she surveys the battlefield and provides intelligence for all allies in her presence. Furthermore, all energies purified by you and your allies are caught by her wings to be stored and released to empower other allies. When you enter stage 2 and begin empowering yourself with Principalities, Gabriel will gain the ability to create perfect counters based on the intelligence she gathers. If she witnesses the opponent use an energetic technique once, she will create a perfect counter to that through the use of Aether that she will distribute to all allies for one use. The next time the opponent uses that energetic technique again, it will have no effect on you or your allies.
Stage 2 - The First Heaven
"Savior ours, protect our cause, leader of the choir. Savior ours, protect our cause, leader of the choir. Savior ours, protect our cause, leader of the choir..."
Uriel and Gabriel ignite into flames, bending along your back to form golden wings that radiate a white glow. From here, you can switch between their three forms: weapon form, wing form, or archangel form. In winged form, the powers of both Uriel and Gabriel combine to witness Truth - an ability that allows one to see everything in front of them through all mediums. Meanwhile, your hands grasp two new swords who, like Uriel and Gabriel, are distinguished by their hilt. Phanuel's hilt is entirely made of blue flames that cradle a guard that resembles brazier. Ramiel on the other hand is a silver hilt, electricity coiling and uncoiling around the guard while pulsing energies crack from within.
Phanuel and Ramiel can also switch to winged form by unequiping them and then equipping Uriel and Gabriel in sword-form. When Phanuel and Ramiel are in winged form, you can deliver a charged attack from your wings that deliver the weight of the Throne of Adonai and the electric power of Ramiel's lightning bolts when you flap your wings in a direction. If you wish to use your hands for combat, you can have the angels wield the swords instead of you.
The only noticeable difference to your form, aside from the wings, is the power of the Principalities. A halo now hovers just above your head like a crown, a golden disk of light whose brilliance further enriches the bright gleam of your body and wings. The halo protects you from any illusion or manipulation of your fate.
The Principalities are unseen in the battlefield, bending the light around them to mask themselves in the sky. Should you will them to be revealed, the opponent would see them as great disks of burning light far in the sky, barely making out their winged figures as they are the ones who make up the halo. The Principalities work for two purposes: defense and support. They defend from any attack that you cannot avoid or perceive by creating disks around the places you would have taken the hit, however these disks are not impenetrable and they only defend you cannot at all defend from something and they do not defend your mistakes in combat. Through your connection to them, you can also will them to defend you whenever you please and this would be the same for all angels you summon.
Along with that, the Principalities grant upgraded powers for the angels (Gabriel and Uriel discussed previously). However, a set of Principalities cannot do both defend and amplify abilities - they must do one or the other. Furthermore, each set of Principalities focuses on just one angel or person at a time to either defend or amplify.
However, a set of Principalities cannot do both defend and amplify abilities - they must do one or the other. Furthermore, each set of Principalities focuses on just one angel or person at a time to either defend or amplify.
- Phanuel (Face of God): Phanuel is the Angel of Repentance as the one who judges and expels traitors from their ranks. Along with those duties, he is tasked with defending purity and the pure themselves from corruption. He is ruled purely by dogma and his devotion to the teachings of Adonai Messiah and is unyielding in carrying out what he has been taught to be true. Due to his fierce loyalty to the tenets, he is received to great admiration by all angels and this respect carries through to his leadership over the Ophanim.
- When used as a blade, Phanuel neither burns nor vaporizes, his blade carries the absolute weight of the Throne of Adonai with such extreme mass that it can smack a planet out of orbit. Due to the sheer mass (which does not radiate its presence normally), space bends around the blade with twisting light.
- When in Archangel Form, Phanuel arises as a towering figure the size of a standard mountain. Phanuel is a tank who is infallible to nothing less than a moon crashing into his body, capable of rushing into a heated warzone and wrecking the battlefield with his dominant strength. If the Principalities amplify his power, he can impose his presence upon the battlefield with the weight of the Throne of Adonai, paralyzing all foes who do not bear the halo of the Principalities. The effect is much like a gravitational weight as even the planet begins to sink.
- Ramiel (Thunder of God): Ramiel is the Angel of Hope, granting powerful visions of a better future and counsels the angels in the ideology of Adonai. Despite those relatively tame jobs, she is extremely formidable in combat, having trained and guided all the other 6 Archangels. She relishes carrying out divine wrath, to an almost sadistic extent.
- As a sword, one strike from Ramiel's blade is equal to having been struck by a thousand bolts of lightning at once. The punishing amount of damage is due to the wild power dwelling within Ramiel as she wishes to impose the divine wrath, so much so that she also grants increased mobility for whoever wields her.
- When in Archangel Form, Ramiel is a luminous cloud of lightning and thunder as she flies through the battlefield, rarely stopping in her path so one can gaze at her true appearance. While capable of heavy ranged attacks that explode concussive sound as thunder from anything she gazes upon, she prefers meeting face to face with her foes to deliver punishing attacks at bursting speeds. When amplified by the Principalities, her body becomes lightning itself and everything about her is to deal offensive damage with those in her path being met by the power of thousands of lightning bolts through a simple fly-by.
Stage 3 - The Second Heaven
"Blessed, blessed indeed we are the Warriors of Truth. Blessed, blessed indeed we are the Warriors of Truth. Blessed, blessed indeed we are the Warriors of Truth..."
-Hymn of the Angels
Phanuel and Ramiel ignite into flames, bending to take the form of golden wings with a white glow on your back - a second pair. Phanuel and Ramiel would stack their combined winged form power with Uriel and Gabriel. In your hands, two new swords remain enclosed around your grip. Raphael's hilt is entirely white, the ripples of wings breaking what would be a blank surface, the blade itself with a blue glow like that of the sky. Samael's hilt is the complete opposite; tattered with black cloth and dark fumes rising from the gaps, the blade emanating a sickly red light.
Create the presence of Adonai Messiah when combining Uriel, Gabriel, Phanuel, and Ramiel.
Like the other swords, you can switch between each one by unequipping the current swords you have. When Raphael and Samael are in winged form, they can create a ray of light which grows in size depending on how far up in the sky you are that instantly begins healing allies within who bear the halo and brands enemies within, burning them. When one unlocks Seraphic Aether, this ray can be manipulated.
The only noticeable difference to your form, aside from the wings, is the affect of the Virtues. Your body gleams with a golden aura that resembles a radiant, luminous cloud around your entire figure. With this, you can track ANY attack to its source and appear where the attack came from.
The Virtues in the battlefield appear at the center of the halos that are the Principalities in the sky, amplifying their power even further by connecting them to all who bear the halo and giving them both defense and power amplification at the same time.
The Dominions are unseen in the sky unless you will them to be seen. They come to defend those not participating in active combat like the Virtues and the Principalities. When they must defend, fire will boil the sky as Aetheric energies manifest for them to manipulate for defense.
The Powers however serve purely in combat for both defense and offense. They are wingless angels, only possessing them as decoration on their armor. They possess a similar level of raw power as you do with their light supercharged within them to allow for blindingly fast attacks and crippling blows. Put simply, they're the Spartans of the angels.

- Raphael (God Who Heals): Raphael is the Angel of Healing, purifying all manners of wounds and corruptions. Raphael is an angel who adores the romance of that which exists in the world, holding a profound love for the natural and can thus be seen as conservative. He is unwilling to see forcible change in any way, believing that the way something has been created and allowed to evolve naturally is how things must always be. When is he called to purify the world of sin with his blade and staff, it is simply a manner of salvation in his eyes.
- When used as a blade, Raphael cannot harm those who have done no wrong and are thus innocent. Any blade that seeks to do harm against it will be stopped completely against it if you block with this sword. There is no injurious blade that can overcome Raphael and any affects the other blade or weapon has is neutralized against Raphael. When you stab Raphael into an object, it does not maim or harm, but instead heals all forms of wounds throughout its system.
- When in Archangel Form, Raphael appears as a boy in glorious white armor and wings like the clouds and chainmail as blue as the sky. On one hand is his trumpet and the other a pure white staff. Raphael focuses entirely on healing comrades from all ailments, flying throughout the battlefield and pointing his staff to create pearl white clouds that heal allies within. Should an ally fall while he was in their presence, he can simply sound his trumpet and they will rise once more. When amplified by the Principalities, Raphael will sound his trumpet and create a vast Aetheric field where harm of no kind can occur within and all who bear the halo regain their strength in.
- Samael (Venom of God): Samael is the Angel of Death, responsible for interrogating enemies and taking their souls before Adonai Messiah. Although he works for good, his actions can be sometimes be considered evil as he tempts the good to stray to evil as a test of their worth. He is considered the demon of the heavens and is seen as a consort to Adamas Thanatos, frequently representing both sides before each other. All and even angels fear coming before Samael, none can stray from his power.
- As a sword, Samael does the complete opposite of Raphael. It corrupts whatever its blade touches with Aetheric energy that brands enemies. When enemies or objects are branded, they become extremely weak to any Aetheric attacks and thus the angels tend to focus heavily on attacking branded enemies. Enemies become so weak to Aetheric energy that stepping into Raphael's healing fields does damage to them and even touching an Archangel will cause sever damage. If Samael is stabbed into an enemy's body (chest area), their soul is rended and taken.
- In his Archangel Form, Samael appears as an angel cloaked in all black, ragged at the bottom with fumes rising beneath, red wings making even more prominent the sickly glow of his halo. He possesses no weaponry, only choosing to use Aetheric attacks that cause corruption seen in his sword form. When amplified by the Principalities, he becomes stationary and his halo becomes an aura that festers and grows, branding all enemies who sense him in any way.
Stage 4 - Lord of the Highest Heaven
"Of eternity and trembling, lead our ministry forever magnifying. Of eternity and trembling, lead our ministry forever magnifying. Of eternity and trembling, lead our ministry forever magnifying..."
-Hymn of the Angels
The swords of the Archangels turn to winged form on your back, 6 wings extending out in their full glory as pinions of white and gold. In your hands is a golden sword which emanates with a power that is both fiery, electrified, and radiant. It is the Archangel Sword of Michael.
The skies open up to titanic wheels of red fire, eyes of blue open all throughout the other rim, the Thrones descending down from heaven into the battlefield to create a constant hue of golden light. They arrive chanting and resounding the glories of Adonai Messiah's armies (the words you utter to go into each stage). Thrones, or the Ophanim, are known as the whirlwinds that carry the throne of God, therefore when they arrive, a part of Adonai Messiah has also made itself present on the battlefield. They have been mistaken before for galaxies, nebulae, stars, and even quasars when they release their deadly power.
The Thrones possess the power to set aflame any who bear the halo mark in Aetheric conflagration, including those branded by Samael's branding power (which would thus kill the opponent(s)). For angels, this would not harm them and it would instead make them powerful attacks as they dive into the battlefield, their feathered wings exploding in an inferno then reforming in the aftermath. The Thrones themselves can do combat as well by releasing deadly rays of Aether at opponents with a resemblance to a gamma-ray burst (enough power to vaporize a chain of planets) called Lys. Lys is a form of the purifying energy seen in the Divine Plane, however Lys is not just purifying and when used by the Thrones this is not a benevolent force, it is entirely meant to destroy. The Thrones are known for destroying planets that are the failed creations of gods with this power. Their combat potential is further employed when you summon the Seraph.
The Cherubim make their presence known by appearing between the wheels of the Thrones, appearing like a single flame of golden fire. Looking closely, they possess four wings and three heads, their bodies wrapped in their own wings. Cherubim have one simple power: granting the power to completely use Aether for all who bear the halo. Just as Nether has three forms depending on concentration, Aether has three forms that are dependent on concentration.
The first is simply known as Aether, possessing an orange hue which can be saturated to appear red as well and has the lowest concentration of Aether. In appearance, it is more like heat and a radiation possessing the ability to heal and empower that which it touches to the maximum potential at a divine level. This is the air that the gods breathe. This is the power that was first seen used in the First Stage and expanded upon in the Second Stage with the Principalities.
The second is known as Holy Aether, possessing a golden hue which is unchanging. In appearance, it is a waving flame of fire and has the second highest concentration of Aether. It possesses the ability to burn everything and anything down to pure energy. It is the most traditional form of Aether that is used in combat for all manner of attacks and can be infused into all other forms of energy except Nether energies. This power was being used across all stages in minor ways, primarily through the Archangels.
The third and final form of Aether is known as Seraphic Aether, being completely white. It cannot be seen, distinguished, or comprehended by anyone who does not possess knowledge or power over Aether (or energies like Aether (Yang)) unless someone wills them to and doing so could cause them to incur insanity as they gaze upon eternity. When seen, it is a white light that behaves like air with the radiance of fire. Its ability is purifying and those who feel its power feel the full weight of God's power burning them and ascending their healed soul. This power is unlocked in this stage only when the Cherubim appear.
Finally, the Seraphs make their presence known when summoned. All shadows throughout the vicinity disappearing and all manner of dark powers become unusable unless they're Netheric in nature. They are made entirely of Seraphic Aether, of which the name comes from, and are beings unseen due to the nature of Seraphic Aether, even angels dying should they look at their faces directly. They possess 6 wings, one pair covering their legs stretching so far down that it is like massive cyclone, one pair covering their body, and the last pair covering their face. When the wings that cover their bodies open, they are shown to have 6 arms. When the wings that cover their face open, they are shown to have 7 golden eyes, appearing like thin gashes with the seventh wide open vertically on their forehead. They're massive angels, absolutely titanic who can manipulate the concentration of their Aether and their size. If one looks closely, the feathers of their wings are actually angels while their halo is an Ophanim itself. If shown in their most glorious state, they can range from the size of planets, galaxies, or even nebulae. In combat, they tend to grab the Thrones as disks and launch them at opponents or use them like weapons. Despite their massive size, they possess an unlikely agility and swiftness.

- Michael (He Who Is As God): Michael is the Angel of Divinity and he is the prince of the Seraphs, commanding all angels under his banner. He is the most powerful angel in the legions of Adonai Messiah, a distinction that should be made clear because Vehuiah Seraphim, Metatron, Malkira, Galgallin, Ameretat, and Andraste are not angels - they are Eternals. Undefeated in combat, he has defeated all manners of evil and was at the frontlines during The First Ragnarok when he battled the Titans at Asgard. It was he who struck down Jormungandr in personal combat and it is he who carries out the personal requests of Adonai Messiah.
- When used as a sword, his blade is made from the same fabric that forms the Eternals of Adonai Messiah's pantheon. This being a powerful version of Seraphic Aether that has the exact elemental behavior as Seraphic Aether, but is golden in color with the main distinction being the electric pulses it gives off. To put it simply, striking anything with the sword of Michael will burn it to smithereens. There's no more elegant ways of putting it. The sword also has the ability to smite opponents from a long range with a similar gamma-ray burst that the Thrones have with Lys, except this is a lightning bolt.
- When used in his Archangel Form, Michael appears with 6 wings and golden armor. Blonde of hair with tanned skin, he wields the very sword you would wield in his sword form. Michael is always at maximum power, not needing the extra buff from the Principalities or the Virtues. In a sense, he is like another wielder of the Gjallarhorn of Adonai Messiah with great command over all the angels and an even stronger level of raw power.
