Phanes Acmon
He Who Rises Agleam
Phanes Acmon (Fa-neece)
Guardian of Asgard
King of Mediae
Concept: Creation/Consciousness
Embodiment: Ether
Weapon: Scepter
Phanes Acmon, whose name means “To Bring Light” or “Manifest” is the leader of all Eternals who rules within Asgard as its king. All gods and beings of divinity were created by him as his presence exists heavily throughout all realms in existence. A being of great stature who is only rivaled by Ouranos, Ragnarok, and Ansemund himself, Phanes Acmon was born from within the rain of Yggdrasil cast by the falling dew that dripped into Ginnungagap, casting a great ocean abyss. It is there that Phanes rose from the watery abyss and created the light that shines throughout the Nine Worlds from which Adonai Messiah, Eternal of Genesis, was molded from. It is from Phanes that all Eternals were crafted from due to the pure radiance he emitted, effectively making him the first concept.
Unlike most other Gjallarhorns, you MUST go through all stages in order to be able to wield Phanes Acmon’s power. You cannot start from any other stage besides Stage 1 and you must go through the steps until finally revealing the final stage.
Summoning the Gjallarhorn of Phanes Acmon will cause a squall of wind to blast the battlefield back, a hailstorm of water droplets smashing into any surface horizontally, quickly flooding everything in the battlefield. Mixed into the storm is the rapidly growing presence of Phanes, which curiously depicts destruction and unravels the existence of whatever the storm hits, making it crumble to ash. In your hands is a long, golden sceptre whose rod splits off in a double helix surrounding a wooden egg at the top, radiant blue energy emitting from its surface. Runes of an ancient dialect run down the base of the sceptre, starting from one single rune on the wooden egg, which is a triangle.

“Ineffable, hidden, brilliant scion, whose motion is whirring, you scattered the dark mist that lay before your eyes; Flapping your wings, you whirled about, and through this world you brought pure light. For this I summon you....BE BORN PRIMEVAL LORD, GJALLARHORN OF THE PROTOGONOS!”
Stage 1 - The Orphic Egg Rises
As noticed, the name of the Gjallarhorn isn’t explicitly stated in the summoning chant. It will become apparent as to why throughout the stages as only the shell or egg of Phanes Acmon can be created first, thus the name Protogonos (“First-Born”). In this stage, the user is able to manipulate two forms of Ether: Ash Ether (Metis) and Dew Ether (Ericapaeus). Metis meaning power, Ericapaeus meaning thought.
Manipulating Metis allows you to cast out the branches of Yggdrasil, tendrils of ash resembling wood that swim along the air rapidly that can move unseen and split between out of reality and space, making it extremely hard for them to be harmed and extremely easy to be hit by them. Upon being hit, energies splatter in a display of blue light that drops onto the ground seeing as the Ether unravels the existence of whatever it comes into contact with and shatters their fate. It moving throughout the air is not literal, seeing as the air it travels through also has its existence unraveled. Whatever it hits or travels through fuels the runes that remain unseen along the branches’ body until the fight drags on, where they begin to shine with a blue energy. While that happens, energy spirals around the sceptre wielded, giving shape to a serpent.
Manipulating Ericapaeus allows you to create waves of blue energy that move like a liquid throughout the air, being sent out by Metis. It can achieve nearly the same thing as Metis, but it does it differently. Metis unravels existence, while Ericapaeus changes, but both would look as if what it hit turned into ash. Even as Ericapaeus forms in the air, the air is changed, allowing for the user to create whatever element is needed out of seemingly nothing.

- Prodílos Kósmo: Anthisi Lampsi Tou (World’s Manifest: Luster’s Bloom): Summons the latent energies from the environment, allowing you to manipulate and harness the power. When done so, it appears as luminous gases of varying colors. This serves as a powerful source of recyclable energy because it returns directly back to the environment when used.
- Prodilos Kosmo: Maramena Sipsi (World’s Manifest: Withered Blight): Sends out a shockwave that decays energy to simple pure energy. The speed of this decay and its range is dependent on the strength output of the shockwave.
- Prodilos Kosmo: Kovo Tefras (World’s Manifest: Sever of Ash): Removes one element from the presence of the sceptre, stopping it from being manifested or created naturally. If the element is already in the surrounding area, it is purged and nullified.
Stage 2 - The All-Shining Flower
“'Tis thine from darksome mists to pure the sight, all-spreading splendour, pure and holy light.”
Thick branches with runes carved to their wood emerge from out of the blue ripples, spreading out around the area and burying themselves into the ground while other branches coil into the air. They stop after a few moments, buds of a deep blue color emerging out from their ends. They quickly bloom, sprouting out a bright luster of blue, small golden stars dazzling out from the radiance. The battlefield is quickly given an electric blue hue, establishing the second stage of this Gjallarhorn. The light of the flowers reveal runes carved along the arm that wields the golden sceptre of Phanes Acmon. The hymn would continue through this stage, resonating from the flowers now at a slightly higher pitch, almost hissing.
You’re able to manipulate the flowers and the branches, shooting out the stars like bullets. Whatever those stars hit sends out further ripples that create more places for the branches to emerge and create even more flowers. The stars, as one may guess, act like seeds. The branches are all connected within a dimension from where those ripples come from, stage 1 was to tether that realm to the current realm. As the fight drags on, the All-Shining Flower will emerge.
You’re capable of using the same techniques as in Stage 1, but they’re stronger than they were in stage 1 inherently. Scales also begin to cover your body, growing out of your skin because of the light and they grow and regenerate quickly so long as you are close to the light. They’re a defensive technique with the ability to hide within the light, making you unseen in this environment and also unheard due to the hymn from the flowers. As the fight drags, you will not be detected through scent due to the pollen that will emerge. Your energy also becomes one with the All-Shining Flower (when that emerges), making you almost undetectable besides through physical contact as the branches, light, and flowers are all around the environment.

- All-Shining Flower: Ripples run throughout the atmosphere, giving way to the emergence of an astonishingly enormous golden flower bud that pierces through the atmosphere. It will remain there for the duration of this stage and will bloom to set the beginning of Stage 3.
- Psalmodía Anthos (Chanting Blossom): The manipulation of the branches and flowers to maneuver them and shoot out the seeds/stars.
- Prodílos Kósmo: Chorós Paidiá (Dancing Children): The segments of wood from the branches crack, revealing the blue energy within, flowers blooming from those cracks in a dazzling display of light and colors. A purple, gaseous substance (the pollen) releasing from the newly emerged flowers and filling the battlefield. The pollen is connected to your energy, meaning you can remotely manipulate, empower, or transform its base substance. You can convert the base into fire, igniting all those within as if they were scorched by the fires of hell. Or convert it to water, breaking down materials. If the opponent inhales this substance, you will be able to convert their insides into whatever element. Although the pollen’s color will remain purple and remain relatively gaseous.
- Fotiá (Fire): Converts the pollen into fire, becoming able to emit heat and scorch enemies that enter or inhale it.
- Astrapí (Lightning): Converts the pollen into lightning, becoming able to emit electricity and shock enemies that enter or inhale it.
- Págos (Ice): Converts the pollen into frost, becoming able to emit a biting cold air and freeze enemies that enter or inhale it.
- Neró (Water): Converts the pollen into water, becoming able to emit a crushing pressure and erode enemies that enter or inhale it.
Stage 3 - Eternal One: Glory From the Sky
“The strangers fight the sun, protect the holy cause. Light us father, glory in your resurrection!
The warrior fights for the sun, protect the holy cause. Light us father, glory in your consecration!
For thee I sing: genial, all-prudent, ever blessed king!”
The golden ray blasts away from your body in a powerful explosion, revealing a new form for you. Your hair is now golden, eyes with an electric blue intensity. Wooden green armor, Anbruch (Dawning) adorns your entire body, decorated with glowing runes of blue and white. Its plates made from the wood of Yggdrasil, with leaves spreading along the two breast plates up into your shoulder blades, the leaves of each plate a shade of black or white. In your hands is a weapon of the Eternal Aran Einior (Elder King), Baldraz (Brave One); a sturdy axe whose entire axe head are thin branches woven together with a sharpened edge. Each of the branches shine between gold and black, creating a double helix down the haft of the axe, being two coiled serpents that symbolize Time (Chronos) and Fate (Ananke). On your other hand, you possess a thin sword of pale moonlight of the Eternal Luonnatar (Female Spirit of Nature, Aglathuil (Radiant Spring); the blade possessing a similar resemblance to Baldraz with its interwoven branches.
Two serpents coil around your body, writhing around you, one possessing white scales with a burning red underbelly, the other possessing purple scales, with a somber black underbelly.
The Aether Serpent (red) symbolizes the energy of the soul. The Nether Serpent (purple) symbolizes the material body.

The Aether Serpent (red) symbolizes the energy of the soul. The Nether Serpent (purple) symbolizes the material body.
- Anbruch (Dawning): The armor of Yggdrasil. The armor is its own living organism and is mystically connected to Yggdrasil itself. It takes in the energies from around it to empower itself (a manner similar to photosynthesis), creating stronger defensive capabilities and granting energy to its master. In addition, it has in its power both Metis and Ericapaeus. Through Metis, attacks that strike the armor have their existence unraveled if they are anything other than the things that are to be listed. Through Ericapaeus, the armor allows you to travel through any Plane of Existence, Realm, World, Domain, etc, without any negative drawback. Ericapaeus' power would change the atmosphere around the user's immediate vicinity for their health. This is meant to personify how Yggdrasil goes through every single realm in existence. The only things that would harm Anbruch are Ether, Aether, and Nether (or energies that simply hit all planes of existence like these). For both Aether and Nether, there would need to be an intense amount of power put into it to deal damage. If there is no other option, fire of the most powerful kind would weaken Anbruch.
- Anbruch - All-Shining Flower: When the nutrients gathered by Baldraz are concentrated into Anbruch, the armor begins to glow with a piercing gold light that can travel through all mediums. This golden light does not harm opponents at all, rather it affects the environment by dramatically enhancing the latent power Anbruch possesses where it pacifies the atmosphere immediately around you. The range is extended even further with its range completely dependent on how many nutrients Baldraz gathered and focused into Anbruch, but if Baldraz gathered enough nutrients, its range can be planetary (affecting all layered planes as well). This technique would cleanse the atmosphere of all negative effects and once used, it cannot be used again for another day.
- Baldraz (Brave One): An axe wielded by Aran Einior, a minor Eternal of Phanes Acmon's Pantheon, with enough chopping power to tear through the wood of Yggdrasil (which serves as it's primary use). The branches of Yggdrasil it cuts down can be used to create extremely powerful constructions that wield the powers of Aether and Nether. When it cuts through the wood of Yggdrasil, it absorbs the nutrients and powers of the World Tree to fuel all of your abilities and armory with power.
- Aglathuil (Radiant Spring): A gleaming sword of moonlight wielded by the minor Eternal Luonnatar. The blade is made from the fallen dews of Yggdrasil, the tears of the moon goddess Máni, and a petal from the All-Shining Flower itself. Those who fall to this blade have their existence sewn to Yggdrasil and its steel cannot be broken by any means so long as Yggdrasil stands, not even Ragnarok being able to destroy it. It's a thin and light blade that allows for great mobility and favors a wielder who values grace above all else in battle. With every swing, the droplets of water fall to the ground that radiate a moonlit glow, allowing for the user to summon Yggdrasil's branches to aid in combat. Paired with Baldraz, the wood you cut down with Baldraz to create constructions from the moonlit pools would possess powers over Ether.
- Aglathuil - Waving Pinions: When the nutrients gathered by Baldraz are concentrated into Aglathuil, moonlight radiates from the blade to shine across the battlefield and all realms layered on that plane. This light ties the existence of those reflected in the light to Aglathuil, allowing for instant transmission so the wielder can slice down opponents with incredible elegance.
- Wotan's Spirit Creature of the Slain: Valknjöggr: One such construction that is summoned through pairing Baldraz and Aglathuil. The dragon of Valhalla is a massive wooden dragon that rivals the size of Nidhogg (a dragon whose wings cross two different horizons) made from the wood of Yggdrasil, the nails of Ymir, and is a very summoning of the materialized power of the Runes of Wisdom and Power, immune to all the effects of every rune and is truly capable of using every single rune. It inherently possesses the Aegishjalmr (Helm of Awe) Rune activated, except its range of influence is continental (comparable to being in the middle of the United States and being able to strike the Pacific and Atlantic Coast almost instantly). It possesses four arms and two legs, with each arm bringing down the same level of power as Mjolnir and each kick at the same level of power as Fenrir’s kicks (which break bonds).
Stage 4 - Eternal One: Phanes Acmon the Protogonos
“Tis thine from darksome mists to pure the sight, all-spreading splendour, pure and holy light. Hence, Phanes, called the glory of the sky, on waving pinions through the world you fly. Father, celebrated power, ineffable, occult, all-shining flower. Father, dark-eyed splendour, thee I sing, genial, all-prudent, ever blessed tower! I HAIL YOU, PHANES ACMON!”
The stage begins when your armor starts glowing with the effect of the All-Shining Flower (piercing golden light) and white moonlight illuminates Aglathuil. Stab Aglathuil into the ground or simply direct its power to the earth, light flowing and cleansing throughout the core of the earth. From its depths, the World Tree itself would grow and root itself in this realm.
Yggdrasil's evergreen leaves and foliage would scatter across the heavens, its crown reaching even further beyond. Shining droplets blue of dew would drip from its leaves and down its ancient brown trunk to fall to the earth where its roots would gather its sap, creating a white loam in the valleys. Yggdrasil's crown of leaves stretch beyond horizons like a dome of green clouds preparing for a storm, the dews falling quickly like rain and readily flooding the earth below in its blue starlight.
You stand at the shadow of the World Tree, letting its waters nourish your armor, your sword, and your body. Your hair would turn first to ash and then to the white of the starlight that now shines from Anbruch, its pale glow only broken from the speckled blues of dew across your armor and from your eyes. On your first step, electricity would crack from between the gaps of your armor.
Aglathuil is in a constant Waving Pinions state while Anbruch allows for new abilities, such as Teleportation. Any realm or world is accessible to Anbruch without drawback due to Yggdrasil's influence over the armor. With the power of the All-Shining Flower passive, all negative affects that remain in the world or wherever you go are immediately cleansed and pacified (basically anything that wishes to do you, the world, or your opponent any harm). However, only passives that have Ether (or the ultimate forms of Darkness and Light mixed) will still remain in play (which is why Waving Pinions still works). Along with that, Anbruch cannot be harmed by anything but Ether (or the ultimate forms of Darkness and Light). If Aether or Nether alone strike it, the attack will be pacified and do nothing to the wielder of Anbruch.

- Yggja (Yew-Tree): Rune of Yggdrasil. From its trunk branches would grow that swing violently as if a terrible wind were blowing them. From its ends, ripples would disturb the air and portals would expand to different interchanging worlds and realms. These vast branches can be manipulated at will and you'd be able to move into each one while also slamming them down on opponents so they are forced into those realms of your choosing. If you so wish, you could force them into an already created Storm Cell.
